For the 2024 CompassSport inter-club competitions, Eryri are classed as a 'small club' and compete for the CompassSport Trophy. We were drawn for a heat in Cannock Chase (north of Birmingham) on 18 February 2024, run by Walton Chasers.
26 members got themselves to the Start line, that is nearly 75% of the club's membership, a brilliant turn-out. The 'cut-off' for 'small clubs' is 120, and we have 35 members. So, even within small clubs, we are small, and this makes our turn-out even more impressive.
We were 3rd overall, just missing out on qualification for the final but what a result. We were the highest scoring Welsh team. And Swansea Bay OC won the national competition last year.
