Mike is JK Sprint Champion

On Friday 3rd April, ERYRI Orienteering Club member Mike Snell won the sprint title at the JK International Orienteering Festival, this year held in Scotland.

Mike won the over 70's category in the UK's largest and most competitive Orienteering event, beating the best of Britain and beyond. Running into the final checkpoint Mike was 1 second behind the leader, but he overturned this deficit with a fantastic sprint finish to take the win by just 1 second.

This is Mike's biggest win to date and is the result of lots of hard work and consistency, particularly on urban terrain. Congratulations!
